DIRECTIONS:
• Cut a Baja Breeze card 10” x 7” and score at 5” with fold at top
• Cut a Whisper White mat 6 ¾ “ x 4 ¾ “ and stamp the large flowers and leaves randomly along the top ¾ of the mat. Color the leaves and dot the centers of the Sahara flowers with Baja and celery ink using the blender pen
• Shade the center slightly to the left and bottom with Sahara ink and a blender pen. Set aside for now
• Using the eyelet border punch, create the fancy edge on one long edge of a 6 ¾ “ x 1 ½ “ piece of Baja Breeze. Don’t throw out the small piece left over.
• Adhere the fancy edged piece to the bottom of the flowered white cardstock, about ¼ - ½ “ from the bottom
• Cut a 6 ¾ “ x 1” piece of the Manhattan plaid and adhere just above the eyelet edge on the card front
• Now adhere the small Baja Breeze piece left over flush to the top of the plaid piece
• Pierce a hole thru the center of the plaid piece near the left hand side of the mat. Insert the corduroy Baja brad and secure
• Adhere to the card front using Stampin Dimensionals
• Stamp a flower with the Sahara Sand ink and color it, shading where desired.
• Punch out the flower with the 1 ¾ “ punch.
• Punch out a 2” Circle of Baja Breeze. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere the punched out flower to this piece
• Create a thin wash of Baja Breeze re-inker 1 drop, Crystal effects 3 drops and a squirt of water from a mister bottle. Paint the flower as desired.
• Sprinkle tiny amounts over the flower so that it will adhere to the Crystal Effects. Set the card aside to dry.
