ELEMENTS OF STYLE CARD
Today I made a raid on my stamp room! Boy did it need it! It looked like someone had thrown a grenade in it! Usually when I go on the mad cleaning raid I get it all neat and tidy, then I feel like stamping again! I vow every time I'm not going to be so messy but must be the artist in me because before I know it, everything is all our of sorts again!
Anyway after all that, I want to share my first creation from my clean stamping room. This also somewhat fits the bill for the Late Night Stampers ED card. I finally got to play with one of my new stamp sets from the Summer Mini catalogue, Elements of Style. I'm in love! It's beautiful images are a delight to work with. Sensing a class for sure!
The stamps were colored with markers and then stamped. When coloring the stamps I started with the lightest colors first and then I ran the darker colors along the edge of the stamp to define the images. Here is the supply list for this card:
Card stock: Not Quite Navy, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Designer Paper: Patterns Night of Navy and Bashful Blue
Markers: Ballet Blue, Brocade Blue, Bashful Blue, More Mustard, So Saffron, Really Rust, Sage Shadow, Mellow Moss
Punches: Eyelet Border, 1" Circle, Large Oval, Oval Scallop
Embellishments: Bashful Blue Satin Ribbon, small pearls

Love how soft the card is even with the Navy Blue base.
