Blog Widget by LinkWithin

Did you know that you can change the appearance of anything metal in a number of different ways?  Let's say for instance that you want to use a colored brad as an accent on your card and you discover you don't have the right color to match your project.  It's easy, just color it!  The following products will work wonderfully on anything metal:

  • Sharpie Permanent Markers
  • Alcohol Inks
  • Alcohol Markers such as a Copic Marker or a Touch Marker
  • Crystal Effects with a drop of re-inker
  • Re-inker mixed with alchol and applied with a brush or cotton tipped applicator
  • Stazon Ink

With any of these products you can even color stamped images on a tin or paint can for example.  Try it! All you have to have is a some silver brads and you can color them any color you want.  Another great embellishment is just an ordinary staple.  Think of the possiblilties if you color them before you staple them!
