MOJO MONDAY CHALLENGE 138

Here is the sketch for this week`s challenge:

Here`s my version of the card using the Watercolor Trio Stamp Set:

The stamped image was created with Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay & Melon Mambo Markers.  I used different combinations of the colors and stamped the image 3 times.  The very faded image was stamped off.  I stuck to the TRIO idea with the 3 ribbons by using all 3 colors again only in the matching polka dot ribbons, and embellishing them with 3 white brads.  The polka dot paper in the background is from the Island Oasis designer paper pack from Stampin`Up! and once again it has polka dots in corresponding colors. The piece behind the stamped image was embossed in the Polka Dot embossing folder using the Big Shot.  I like the sketch this week as it was so fast and easy to duplicate!  Be sure to try your own and enter it at the Mojo Monday site!  Have a great day all!

LATE NIGHT STAMPERS CHALLENGE # 69

 This week's challenge is suppose to include PEARLS & SWIRLS.  Normally when I think if this design my mind goes immediately to a very elegant and baroque type of design.  Today I must have really been out of my element because my card is much more whimsical than my normal style!

MOJO MONDAY CHALLENGE 137

Today is another Mojo Monday Challenge # 137 and here is the sketch:

This is the first chance I had to play with the new designer paper, Island Oasis, in the  Summer Mini catalogue.  It's fun and colorful but still matches all of our current colors and those that are continuing as of July 1st.  Here's the card I came up with:

Cardstock: Barely Banana, Rose Red, Whisper White

Designer Paper: New!  Island Oasis from the Summer Mini

Stamp Sets:  Teeny Tiny Wishes, New! Sweet Scoops!

Inks: Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Rose Red

Punches: 1-1/4" Square, Small Oval, Large Oval

Embellishments: So Saffron grosgrain Ribbon and Half Pearls

I'm just so excited to announce this winner!  First of all I want to say how amazed I was by all the entries and beautiful work that all you fine stampers submitted!  I very large thank you for each and every entry and the effort that you put in to your designs.  They are truly works of art!  It was very hard to pick just one winner but it had to be done!

In consultation with my daughter Jocleyn, who is a Universitly Graduate with a Fine Arts Degree in Painiting, we did reach a decision.  I usually use Jocelyn too because of course she has no idea about who anyone is and she looks at things strictly from an artistic perspective.
