WEDNESDAY'S WONDERFUL COLOR CHALLENGE - BOO!

Today I have a little color challenge for you. These colors are perfect for Halloween but I'm not limiting the theme of your project. All you have to do is use any 4 of the following colors in your project. It's easy to enter simply create your project and post it on your favorite spot on the web. Then simply add your name and link to Mr. Linky below.  If you do not have an internet site to post your work feel free to email me your picture.  [email protected]

When you submit your work your name will be entered to win complete directions for my cards and winners will be announced next Thursday.  Feel free to leave comments and enter the contest.

TUESDAY'S TECHNIQUE CHALLENGE #2

Hello everyone! Ready for a new challenge?  I had fun preparing for this one.  Today's challenge is to use any technique you want, as long as it involves using a brayer.  I will pick the top 3 entries next Tuesday and the lucky participants will win the directions for these 2 cards. 

Here are my cards:

For this card I took the brayer and brayered over the Speciatly Cardstock Bridesmaid.  The wonderful thing is that the foil on the cardstock resists the ink.  Basically you could take any foiled neutral cardstock and turn it into any of our beautiful Stampin' Up! colors.

For this card I used my brayer with the Embossing Folder, Petals a Plenty.  I brayered the folder with the Classic Red Ink and then placed my Vanilla Cardstock inside of it to emboss it in my Big Shot.  I did add a bit of red with a sponge dauber on the top and bottom of the piece.

I have a third card that was made by a fellow demonstrator, Nancy McDonald, who gave me this beautiful card along with a dozen red roses!  She used her brayer to change the White Glossy cardstock into the beautiful Melon Mambo color.

Monday's Merry Challenge #1 - Snowflakes & Snowmen

Well folks I have decided to start my own blog challenges and you are all invited to participate!  Since Christmas is quickly approaching, I thought I'd start with that season as our theme today.  For today's challenge you have to create something that has either SNOWFLAKES OR SNOWMEN or a combination of them both.  Use any colors or layouts you want. 

Here's my card:

The idea for the layout for this card is from this Monday's Mojo Challenge.  Of course since I just started off the challenges with Monday's Merry... I had to use the workd merry for my greeting.  Papers are from the Christmas Cocoa Collection and my color choices include Real Red, Whisper White, and Sahara Sand.  I love the flocking on this paper, as it adds such a nice taste of texture.
