The challenge for the week at Late Night Stampers is to create birthday cards, and we all know we can never have enough of them.  The cards I have created for today's project use the CELEBRATIONS DESIGNER SERIES PAPER and the CELEBRATIONS QUICK ACCENTS.  Take a peek at these super products.

There is a whole line of matching celebration products that you can find on page 52 of the 2010-11 Idea Book & Catalogue.  The perfect products for that special celebration that you are planning.

Here`s what I came up with using these and the Party Hearty stamp set and matching embellishments:

These cards took just 5 minutes to make them both!  The peel and stick stickers and borders are so easy to use.  I love the primary colors in this set.  Sure to be a hit for children`s birthday parties.

Try not to drop dead from the shock but guess who's back?!!!  I finally actually stamped today for the first time in 3 weeks.  Must be a record for me.  With the sale of our house and the purchase of our new home, my online class and many many things I finally had time to stamp today!  I was in terrible withdrawal!

Today I was preparing for some of my July classes.  The Stamp of the Month club this month will be particularly fun as we will be using two of the NEW matching products in the BRAND NEW catalogue.  Did you realize you can now shop from it?

First product is the Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper which has the beautiful palette of:

No, I haven't lost my mind, I meant to say Late Night Visitor instead of Late Night Stamper.  LOL  I caught a raccoon eating seeds and peanuts in my bird feeder the other night, so of course I had to take a few pictures:

Hmm, what have we got here?  Quite a nice selection don't you think?

I think if I can reach in here just so, I'll be able to get more of those peanuts!

Uh Oh!  I think I just got caught!  It was those crazy poodles barking at me!

Time for my exit folks!

Isn't he cute?  I just love animals and think that the little bandit mask is perfect for these little fellows.  I like to leave bananas and things out for him because I just can't resist!  I'm an awful softy at heart when it comes to animals.

Now for today's real post.  LOL

I'm featuring the stamp set, Le Jardin Botanique:

This is a card I made which kind of flows with the theme of God's creation.  After all the little guy is one of His little creatures too, even if He is a bandit!  LOL

I love this stamp set.  I'm very partial to all the sets that pertain to nature probably because it never ceases to amaze just how vast and wonderful God's creation really is!  Here's the supply list for this card:

Stamp Set: Le Jardin Botanique

Card Stock: Hunter Green, Naturals White, More Mustard

Designer Paper:To The Nines Specialty, Autumn Traditions

Inks: Hunter Green, More Mustard

Embellishments: Gold Organdy Ribbon (retired), Hunter Green & More Mustard Buttons

Thanks for dropping by!  Hope you have a wonderful day enjoying all the beautiful creation that God has created for us.

Today i have 2 cards for you that I created using the Ever After Stamp Set found in the Occasions section of the 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalogue.  Here's the stamp set:

Here are the cards I made with it:

This first card is a wedding card I made for the Late Night Stampers Easy & Demonstratable Card.  I chose the palette of Cameo Coral and White.  Plus I just had to throw in some White Shimmer Card stock which I embossed with Polka Dots in the Big Shot.  The heart was stamped in Cameo Coral Craft Ink and then embossed with Iridescent Ice which gives it a soft but beautiful sparkle.  The Love image was stamped with Cameo Coral Craft ink and then just heat set.  I added the single pearl just because.....LOL  Topped off with a White Satin Ribbon and I think you've got an easy but beautiful card.

My second card is also for the Late Night Stampers Pearl & Swirls challenge.  I chose a palette of Certain Celery, Perfect Plum, Pale Plum and Whisper White.  The designer paper comes from the Perfect Plum Patterns pack.  The lily image was stamped with Basic Gray and then colored with markers from the selection of palette colors.  The Celery accents were just punched out of card stock with the Wide Oval Punch and then taped so that only half of the oval is visible.  I used these as places to place all my pearls.  I then added the Pale Plum pearls and the Celery bow.  This was also a very fast and easy card to produce.

Thanks for dropping by!  Be sure to add your artwork to these challenges at Late Night Stampers Yahoo group.  There is so many beautiful projects to see there!

Today I wanted to feature one of the designer papers in the Mini Occasions catalogue which will expire at the end of this month.  This paper is calledShades of Spring and with a color palette of Orchid Opulence, Certain Celery, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink it truly fits its name!

Have a peek at the paper:

If that doesn't put us all in the mood for spring I don't know what will!  Here's a little Crazy Quilt card that I did using scraps of this paper.  Like a real crazy quilt I added ribbon and pearls to define each section of the "quilt".  The idea for the Crazy Quilt came from one of the projects done at the USTAMP SPRING SOIREE, by designer,Linda Martinelli.  The ribbon is from the Ribbons Originals Elementary collection which is my very favorite ribbon!

This is a great way to use up all those scraps you've been hoarding and don't know what to do with them!  LOL  Takes one to know one!!

If you have any questions about this card feel free to leave them in the comments and I will get back to you ASAP.  Thanks for dropping by.

First of all I finally had some time to actually stamp today; believe me I was in serious withdrawal!  I got a new set to me last week, the VERY THANKFUL stamp set on the back page of the catalogue. This is our featured "Making a Difference" stamp set which is designated for the Ronald McDonald House Charity. Contribute to the cause of Making a Difference in the lives of children served by Ronald McDonald House Charities by purchasing theVery Thankful stamp set. Not only will you be able to share your thanks with others with these delightful images, but you will have the gratitude of the children and families who benefit from the donation of $2 per set that Stampin' Up! contributes from the proceeds of this stamp set.

I will be featuring a few different cards from this set just to show you the versatility of the designs.

This card is of course very whimsical like the stamped image.  The image was stamped with Garden Green and then colored with markers and blender pens.  I used D/P from the Kaleidoscope collection.  For embellishments I added the Bermuda Bay polka dot ribbon and the matching pearls.

The next card is also fun and whimsical.

As you can see this has a completely different color palette of Pumpkin Pie, Not Quite Navy and Naturals White card stock.  The D/P comes from the Autumn Meadows collection.  The image was colored with markers and embellishments include the grosgrain ribbon and the matching Corduroy Button.

Re-inkers are one of those wonderful products that are sometimes overlooked.  Did you know that there is a re-inker for every single color of ink that Stampin' Up! sells?  Did you know that you can re-ink your ink pads and your markers with the Classic re-inkers?  What about all the wonderful techniques you can do with a re-inker?  Way too many for just one little post for today!  LOL

However, I am going to share one with you that is so easy to do!  Did you know with just a baby wipe and a few colors of re-inkers you can create a unique palette for the perfect stamping pad?  Here's what you do:

Lay down a sheet of acetate on your work surface.  Then lay a wet baby wipe on top of that and smooth it out.  Starting in the center make a circle of small dots of ink from your first color of re-inker.  Then add another large circle around it with your second color of ink.  Again placing small dots in a circular pattern.  Repeat another circle with the same 2nd color.  Last create the final circle of color with your third re-inker, add 3 circles of this color.

That's it!  Now you have the perfect stamp pad for those large background stamps, such as the medallion stamp.  Simply ink up the stamp and then stamp it on Whisper White card stock or another complementary color.

Tonight we will be creating a whole set of cards using this great technique.  Here is a card that I came up with by using up some of the left over scraps.

Baby wipe technique card

I love how this technique gives you a watercolor look with lots of natural shades and hues of the colors that you choose.  Try it at home!  Think of the possibilities of color choices to create!  Happy stamping everyone.

Don't forget to leave a comment to be entered into the draw for the Spring Soiree 2010 On-line class.  Only 5 days left to enter!

For today's post I'm featuring one of the cards from the Eggcoutrements Stamp Set, which is the Stamp of the Month for the March 25th class. This is a very cute stamp set and all the images are reverse stamping meaning that the background gets the color and the actual image is left blank.

I love the scallop stamp along the top of the card which has very delicate flowers along the edge which I colored with a Barely Banana Marker.   This stamp set is very whimsical in style and each of the stamps works well with one of our co-ordinating punches.  For this simple card I chose a palette of Bermuda Bay, Whisper White and just a hint of Barely Banana.  For the embellishments I used pearls and our Whisper White Organza ribbon, which both suit the delicate design of this card.

Did you know that each of our In Colors have matching Designer Paper?  They are found on page 161 of your catalogue and are called the Patterns Designer Series paper.  I love these papers because they contain such delicate images such as the polka dots featured on this card.  Here's a look at the patterns in each of the packages:

Besides the In Colors these great papers also come in 8 other colors from our Earth Elements, Rich Regals and Soft Subtles palettes.

I am now accepting registrations for the Eggcoutrements Stamp of the Monthclass so please register by March 1st to allow time for me to order in your supplies.  Hope to see you there!
